In our part of the world, the Dog Days of Summer are a predictable stretch of hot and humid weather we’ve come to expect every year. But it’s hard to overlook that extreme heat events are happening more frequently and lasting longer, especially during times when construction or similar projects are in full-swing. Sweltering temps can cause problems with many kinds of equipment; but when you’re relying on a camera trailer to monitor critical infrastructure or work sites, you can’t afford to have sensitive hardware or batteries overheat.

Only MPS camera trailers have a smart temperature regulation process that monitors ambient and internal temperatures. When temps are climbing, the system will automatically turn on high-volume, variable speed fans to cool internal components for optimal operation. Because these fans draw extra power, they will only run for as long as they’re needed at a speed that conserves the most power.
