Better than the grapevine

There are times when you need to communicate directly with persons near your mobile surveillance unit. Audio options add that extra connection and immediacy you can’t achieve with video surveillance alone.

For example, with one-way audio, you can broadcast instructions and alerts. Using the MP Status & Control application, you can configure your audio to play pre-recorded messages when motion is detected. With a two-way system, you can have remote conversations with persons on site. This is particularly useful during setup or when the unit is used as a check-in point. In law enforcement, two-way communication can safely help de-escalate a situation and reduce the time it takes to resolve issues. We hope you’ll read our most recent post for an example of how a department did exactly that.

And audio options aren’t limited to camera trailers; they’re available on our mounted Power Sentry units, Gate Sentry and Sentinel towers as well. Whatever your use case may be, our team can recommend the device best suited to accomplish your mobile surveillance goals.
